You are entitled to know how a site that gives you something for free pays its bills, because funding shapes incentives. This page sets out how PunterPick is funded and what that does, and does not, change about what we publish.
PunterPick is free to read. We charge no subscription, we sell no tips, we run no premium tier and we do not sell your data — we hold none to sell.
The Service is funded by advertising alone, served through third-party advertising networks. We take no commission for sending anyone anywhere. If that ever changes, this page changes with it — before the fact, not after.
Advertising space on the Service may be filled by third-party advertising networks. Advertisements are visually distinct from editorial content and are labelled as advertising.
We do not control which specific advertisement is shown to you, and the appearance of an advertisement is not an endorsement. An advertiser cannot buy a prediction, a rating, a placement in our analysis or a mention in our editorial content.
No tracked referral links, no bonus codes and no sign-up offers. Those formats exist almost entirely to earn referral commission, and we earn none.
If you ever see something of that kind published in PunterPick's name, it is not ours. Report it to punterpickofficial@gmail.com.
Our predictions are generated from data and published without reference to any commercial relationship. Nobody outside PunterPick reviews or approves our analysis before publication, and no advertiser or partner sees it in advance.
Odds shown next to a selection reflect a price we observed, not a payment we received.
We do not accept money to publish a prediction, to raise a confidence figure or to promote a fixture. We publish no invented hit rates, profit claims or return-on-investment figures, and we make no promise that any selection will win.
We are not responsible for the accuracy of statements made in third-party advertisements, nor for the products or services they promote. Read the terms of any offer before accepting it.
You may decline non-essential cookies using the banner on the Service, in which case we ask our partners to serve non-personalised advertising where that option is available. You are also free to use an advertisement blocker; the Service remains fully readable if you do.
If you want to know whether a specific link is commercial, ask us through our Contact page and we will tell you straight.
No advertiser can buy a prediction, a placement in our picks, a favourable write-up, or a position on any market page. Which fixtures are covered and which market each is routed to is decided by the procedure on the methodology page, and that procedure does not know who is advertising.
We do not accept paid tips or sponsored predictions in any form, and we do not publish content written or supplied by an operator. If we ever did, it would be labelled as such on the page — but the policy is simply not to.
We also do not publish hit rates, return-on-investment figures or profit claims anywhere on the site, which removes the most common way an analysis site's numbers get quietly shaped by who is paying for them.
A site that publishes betting analysis and also carries betting advertising has an obvious conflict of interest, and the honest response is to describe it plainly rather than hope nobody notices. You should read anything on this site knowing that some of the advertising around it comes from the industry the analysis is about.
The concrete protection is that our picks and their published odds are recorded before kick-off and never revised. That record is checkable by anyone, which is a stronger guarantee than a promise about our intentions.
If you believe something on the site reads as though it were shaped by an advertiser, tell us through the contact page.
