PunterPick is an independent football analysis site. We publish one prediction per fixture, before kick-off, together with the market odds that prediction was published at — and then we leave it alone. Nothing is edited, quietly improved or deleted after the match has been played.
Everything is free to read and there is no account to create. There is no subscription tier, no premium tips, no private channel and nothing held back behind a signup form. The site is funded by advertising, which is set out in full on the advertising disclosure page.
Most football prediction sites are built to sell something: a subscription, a tipster's channel, or a click through to a bookmaker. The predictions are the bait, so they are optimised to look convincing rather than to be checkable. Records get quietly curated, losing selections disappear, and the headline numbers are chosen after the fact.
We wanted the opposite: a site where the method is written down in public, where the odds at publication are recorded so a reader can audit a pick later, and where the uncomfortable results stay visible. That is a lower-drama product than a tipster channel. It is also the only version of this that is honest.
Fixtures, line-ups, injuries, live scores and bookmaker odds are licensed from commercial sports-data providers under paid agreements. We do not scrape other websites and we never republish another tipster's selections as our own.
On top of that feed we run our own selection procedure. Each fixture is profiled on four measures — how strong the favourite is, how likely the draw is, how many goals the match is expected to produce, and how much the weaker side is expected to score — and that profile decides which single market the fixture is published in.
This is why a match appears on one market page and not on all of them. Two attacking sides that both concede are a poor match-result bet and a good both-teams-to-score bet; a heavy mismatch is the reverse. Publishing a 1X2 call on every fixture would mean publishing a weak opinion most days. The methodology page sets out the whole procedure, including when our own model overrides the provider's advice.
We never invent a number. If the feed has no usable data for a fixture, the row stays empty and is labelled NO MARKET rather than filled with an estimate. Where a fixture has no bookmaker price, no probability is displayed at all — the confidence ring is left empty and the row reads no price. A probability with nothing behind it is worse than no probability.
We never revise a published pick. Once a prediction is on the site it is a record, not a working document. A pick that is losing at half time stays exactly as it was published, at the price it was published at.
There are no hit rates, return-on-investment figures, profit claims or staking advice anywhere on this site, and that is a policy rather than an oversight. Those numbers are trivial to present favourably — by choosing a start date, a subset of markets, or a staking plan after the fact — and almost impossible for a reader to verify independently.
What we publish instead is the pick and the price, before the match. That record does not move. Anyone who wants to keep score has everything needed to do it themselves, which is a stronger guarantee than any figure we could choose for ourselves.
We are not a bookmaker and not a betting intermediary. We do not accept bets, process payments, hold funds, or facilitate wagering of any kind. There is nothing to deposit and nothing to withdraw.
Nothing published here is betting advice, investment advice or a guarantee of any outcome. It is analysis, published for information and entertainment, and it should be read that way.
The site carries advertising, and some of that advertising comes from the betting industry. Advertising has no influence on which fixtures are covered, which market a fixture is published in, or what a prediction says. Nobody can pay for a selection, a placement in our picks, or a favourable write-up, and we do not accept paid tips or sponsored predictions.
The advertising disclosure page explains how the funding works in more detail, including what advertisers do and do not get.
If a published pick is wrong because of a data error — a fixture that did not exist, a price that was never available, a line-up mis-reported upstream — tell us and we will say so on the page rather than quietly removing it. Correcting the record in public is the point of keeping one.
The contact page carries the address for everything: corrections, questions about a prediction, bug reports and feedback.
This site is for adults aged 18 or over. Betting is a form of paid entertainment with a negative expected return; it is not a way to make money, and no prediction on this site changes that.
If gambling has stopped being entertainment, stop and get help. The responsible gambling page lists the warning signs, practical limits you can set, and organisations that provide free and confidential support.
